Warren Central Varsity Softball tied the game on a single in the seventh as WCHS tied Eastern Hancock 5-5 on Thursday.  Unfortunately, the game had to be called as a tie be ause Eastern Hancock doesnt have lights on their field. 

Warren got things moving in the first inning.  Alise Terhune singled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run. Later, the WC evened things up at five in the top of the seventh inning when Aniah Baxter singled on a 2-2 count, scoring two runs.

WCHS tallied one home run on the day. Baxter went for the long ball in the fifth inning.  Baxter led WC with two hits in four at bats.

Eastern Hancock had eight hits in the game.  Stapleton and Koch each racked up multiple hits for Eastern Hancock. The Lady Warriors return to action on Saturday as they host a very tough invite with Brownsburg, Franklin Community, & Whiteland, followed by a home MIC game vs. Lawrence Central on Tursday!
